New Hope Orphanage Centre (“we”, “us”) runs www.newhopekahama.or.tz. We respect your privacy and collect as little information as possible.
What we collect
- Messages you send us. The contact form does not store anything on this website. It opens your own email app or WhatsApp with your message, and you choose whether to send it. We receive only what you send.
- Donation details. Donations are made directly through your bank, mobile money provider, WorldRemit or Western Union. We never see your card or bank login details. We only receive the information those services pass on (such as your name, amount and reference).
- Basic server logs. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and to keep the site running.
Cookies
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If you choose to press “Show map”, a Google Maps map is loaded, and Google may set its own cookies under the Google privacy policy. Links to WhatsApp, WorldRemit and Western Union take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
How we use your information
We use your details only to reply to you, confirm and thank you for your donation, and keep you updated if you ask us to. We never sell or share your personal information with anyone else.
Children’s privacy
The photos on this website are shared to show daily life at the centre. If you believe a photo should be removed, please contact us and we will review it promptly.
